Big one

Photography and photographer

Due to my lack of faith in the camera I was using, I didn't mention the existence of the following photos of Naples..
This camera is 12 years old and doesn't have zoom, and my computer didn't even recognize the camera software so I didn't think I'd be able to post them, but, anyway, I'm happy to anounce, here they are:

Mix Pix

In Miami...we were lost. The GPS included.
there are lots of benches with these words on them... I wonder why do people like to use benches as a memory of someone.

photo #3 another million dollar home. are you getting tired of them already? I'm ready to go inside one now.

Naples...... a kind of vintage car. We got alot of traffic on the way there.
At Iguana Mia having a burrito and other stuff. I still haven't finished that food. It's in the fridge.
The roof is really original! I think it was a bank... notice the "Off island" sign. No such thing in the azores. you actually drive through a highway to get to this island. There are lots of "hurricane evacuation route" signs around south florida...They make me kind of nervous.

I think this is sanibel island.. we went to captiva island next.
Houses in Naples.....this city is frikin' rich.... I was stunned. all the cars were top of the line. The houses are prettier then the ones i've seen in other places, they're more creative. I'd love to live here. I was awed.....unfortunatly I was out of batteries to take pictures by then. The gardens are specially amazing, everywhere. Landscape architects are very busy around here.

Preaching to the Crocs

"When I'm elected I will make sure you aligators are properly valued for your souls, not for your skin! I will create a swamp spa where you can get massages and mud mascaras all day long!"

Today's bike.....ride..../ search for key

My t shirt from Butterfly it.

Butterfly in the park today.....

This racoon was hurt....couldn't move a leg. it stinked and was full of flies.....when I passed by him he finally was able to move, I guess the adrenaline helped. =( sad..there was no blood. I don't know what happened.

An iguana. in the wild. huge one, gorgeous too.

A squirl easting a piece of my protein chocolate bar. he was very cute. at some point he climbed a tree....a palm tree and was upside down, eating it. squirls are so cute.
I'm kind of nervous today, because I lost the car key yesterday in the bike ride. It was on my pocket.... It's gone though. The new one will be ready in 2 days, and it will be expensive too. I don't know how it happened. ugh.
At least the iguana was exciting.

Cookies and bike ride

These people were feeding bread to the fish =)
we arrived at the same time at this bridge.
They talked to me, as people do here. I'm getting more used to it.
"hello there, how's your day going? We're here to feed bread to the fish" -he said, getting off his bike and feeding a duck some bread.

i said "Hi! Great, I'm taking some pictures, I'll watch for a bit"

They went by the water to feed fish, and I took the picture. Then I left to ride the bike a bit longer. I got a bit lost so decided to come back the same way, and on the way back, they were still there.

I asked them if they'd ever seen an aligator around there, he said he did, a baby one.

He said he fed some fish and then moved to another side, and about 50 fish followed him in the water :D

there was a crow there too getting some bread, and I told them about the crow I fed, getting the bread wet before he swallowed, and as I said that the crow was doing the same thing.
Crows are scarily smart. They use tools to open stuff.. mail boxes and things. to get coins and things that shine.
They asked my name and where i'm from. They were really nice and sort of reminded me of people on dope relaxed and peace-and-love, in a transcendent way.
I told them I'm from Portugal and the man said "There is one country on this "hemisphere" that speaks portuguese too, do you know which one?" :)
I knew he meant brazil. they were amusing. She asked if I like it in florida. And asked "the weather in portugal is alot like here, right?" We chatted a bit.
She said she liked my accent . I was surprised and pleased. I wonder what my accent is like. It's definatly not "portuguese" I hope.
And he couldn't figure out how to say my name so he said I'm the pretty girl with blue eyes. =)
they were kind of cartoonish. Simple and free. Makes me wonder what kind of lifes they have. I didn't ask their names. I don't think they were a couple or father-daughter. some kind of relatives. I'm curious about people.
They seemed out of context in that neighbourhood. they were pretty simple. This park is in the million dollar neighbourhood.

"Well, nice meeting you, have fun"- I said as I got on the bike.

"Hey nice meeting you too, bye"
